Noise and Statutory Nuisance Act 1993The Noise and Statutory Nuisance Act 1993 covers noise from the streets at night. i.e. noise form machinery or from people. It does not cover road traffic noise. Night hours are defined as being between 11pm and 7am. The local authority is empowered to control such noise.
